Associate Consultant

The Associate Consultant is an entry-level position with significant growth potential.  Associate Consultants work under the direction of Project Managers on our Project Delivery teams.  Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Associate Consultant will perform engineering duties in the implementation, integration and support of AgileAssets transportation software solutions for new and existing clients, both domestically and internationally. PA’s must be able to follow the direction of the PM’s, as well as learn and understand how our software works and how to adapt our software to meet the needs of our various clients.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Participate in all facets of AgileAssets software solution implementations including project plan development, software/business process reconciliation, software setup and configuration, installation, legacy data conversion, integration and interfacing, training, system validation, “go live”, post implementation support, and client relations.
  • Ability to tailor project-defining documentation (Statement Of Work, Project Schedule, etc.) to fit specified project. Lead analysis and develop project procedures and dependent processes.
  • Communicate status and work required of project staff. Includes milestones, effort planned, actual effort expended.
  • Ability to lead analysis and specifications development for conversion and interface activities required for commercial off the shelf (COTS) implementations.
  • Assist in defining reports, business processes and end-user documentation.
  • Document issues and risks associated with specified project and maintain project schedule.
  • Execute assigned duties to meet budget, schedule and quality objectives.
  • Interact with clients, partners, and team members in a positive and resolution oriented manner.
  • Communicate internally and with clients developing sound business relationships.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and/or relocate to client sites as needed

Requirements

  • MS in Civil Engineering or Systems Engineering or BS in Civil Engineering or Systems Engineering with 5 years education or prior experience.  Prior Experience must be in transportation systems including maintenance, pavement, bridges, fleet and facility management and/or basic SQL.  Mandatory training upon hire.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of an organization.
  • Self-starter, energetic and motivated contributor.
  • Desire to partner with clients to help them manage their business better using our software tools.
  • Consulting experience a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
