AgileAssets was a central participant at the 1st IRF Caribbean Regional Congress 2012 held in Montego Bay, Jamaica May 8-11.

Kevin Green, PMP & ITIL Foundations Certified and VP of Professional Services/Project Director at AgileAssets, delivered a presentation highlighting Trinidad and Tobago’s Asset Management capabilities and painted a picture for future maturity and process improvements.

Kevin also highlighted key items required for a successful Asset Management Program, which means establishing Asset Management Software as an important and integral tool, but a tool that requires the establishment of key program foundations such as dedicated funding, organization prioritization and most importantly a systematic approach that allows for early success.

AgileAssets’ project experience in the Caribbean with Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago as well as with the host country Jamaica provided a great background to discuss the full buy-in and support required from politicians and ministries of finance on down to the workers in the field.

For the closing session, Kevin delivered a summary of the work accomplished by the Asset Management Committee during the Conference.

AgileAssets has been providing proven enterprise asset and maintenance management software solutions since 1994. AgileAssets® Bridge Analyst™ and Bridge Inspector™, bridge management system and bridge inspection applications respectively, provide agencies with the tools needed to properly inventory, evaluate, and manage bridge assets.

Click here more information or to schedule a demonstration.

Bridge Analyst™

AgileAssets® Bridge Analyst provides transportation agencies with the tools to use bridge condition and inventory data to effectively allocate funds to deteriorating, obsolete, or substandard bridges within their portfolios.

The flexible AgileAssets® bridge management framework stores, retrieves, and processes bridge condition and inventory data, and allows users to analyze the current condition and needs of your bridge population for a wide range of circumstances. The system provides unmatched capabilities in areas essential to effective bridge management, including userdefined decision trees with specified treatments for different condition levels, performance prediction models, and a wide array of scenario analyses.

AgileAssets’ analysis tools can be used to:

Determine the financial needs for a certain performance level (defined by the user) of individual bridges and/or an entire bridge population

Predict the future performance levels at various funding levels

Assess the backlog in maintenance of the bridge population at various funding levels

In addition to calculating overall budget and levels of service consequences, AgileAssets® Bridge Analyst assists you in selecting the recommended treatment and timing of projects. These analyses are also used to formulate the budget needed for bridge preservation. AgileAssets® Bridge Analyst is a module of AgileAssets’ integrated suite of infrastructure asset management systems, which also has modules available for maintenance management, pavement management, equipment and fleet management, plus a GIS interface.

Bridge Inspector™

AgileAssets® Bridge Inspector provides user with an advanced toolset designed to assist public agencies with the inventory, inspection, and condition assessment of Bridge decks, superstructures, and substructures. AgileAssets is the ideal tool for compliling data needed to create annual National Bridge Inventory (NBI) reports for submission to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).

The Bridge Inspector system was developed as part of AgileAssets Asset Management Suite, Commercial-Off-The- Shelf (COTS) software, and provides a stand alone solution for which includes the following system modules:

Database component of BIAS Software

In-field component software

Data transfer software
