AgileAssets is searching for a Project Manager (PMP) to lead a COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) software implementation for a state department of transportation (DOT). This position will report to Project Director and is responsible for the implementation of AgileAssets software solutions for new and existing clients, both domestically and internationally. Project Manager must have the ability to thoroughly understand software modules and keep abreast of continual AgileAssets system developments in order to translate client business goals into clear software configuration objectives and project implementation plans.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all facets of AgileAssets software solution implementations including project plan development, software/business process reconciliation, software setup and configuration, installation, data conversion, integration and interfacing, training, system validation, “go live”, post implementation support, and client relations. Drive all project management activities for a specified client implementation to ensure overall success and client satisfaction while deploying AgileAssets solutions. Provide guidance to clients, partners, and team members for issue resolution within AgileAssets and the client organization. Facilitate communication and develop relationships at all necessary levels. Must have ability and willingness to travel and/or relocate to client sites as needed.
Experience and interest with projects in West Virginia, New York or Georgia preferred.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of three years verifiable experience managing projects of a similar scale and scope ($1+ Million budget, 18 month duration working across a large public department agency with 1,500-3,000 end users.)
- Minimum of eight years verifiable experience managing projects (EAM or ERP is preferred)
- PMP certified
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in relevant discipline such as computer science, MIS, Civil Engineering, Business or other technical degree
- Strong interest in software and database concepts
- Desire to partner with clients to help them manage their business better using our software tools
- Must be able to operate at the highest levels within the client organizations, such as Steering Committees, and the lowest levels on the project team including developing the requirements and appropriate procedures and scripts/code for conversion and interfaces, participating and leading the training and testing activities.
- Must be able to be a team of one and/or lead a comprehensive team of AgileAssets employees, clients, third party contract staff on large ERP projects, operating as the primary or subcontractor vendor roles.

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
- Basic to advanced SQL skills, Oracle experience, COTS implementation experience and DOT experience
