If you’re a highly motivated and experienced sales executive with a passion for maximizing agency infrastructure investments and a proven track record of exceeding goals, then AgileAssets is the place for you. This position will be responsible for driving revenue, nurturing relationships with potential and current clients and qualifying sales leads through a variety of marketing channels within the West Coast region. You must be prepared to champion the entire sales process including preparing needs assessments, responding to RFPs, delivering customized presentations and leading a smooth and communicative project transition from sales to the implementation team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable and passionate about infrastructure asset management and is never afraid of a challenge.


  • Must demonstrate thorough understanding of the transportation industry, the issues facing transportation agencies and the solutions that AgileAssets software delivers at all organizational levels including business managers and executives
  • Market assigned territory to develop new accounts, further penetrate existing accounts and build a rich sales pipeline through prospecting and networking
  • Assure that all accounts are qualified for potential sales, document account needs and strategically respond to RFP/RFQ/RFI’s
  • Build multiple relationships within each account to maximize the company’s profile
  • Ability to develop an understanding of AgileAssets software modules and demonstrate modules at a broad and deep functional level by articulating application features, business value, competitive advantages, and product capabilities
  • Present software solutions, including advanced product concepts, future direction and third-party complimentary products, when appropriate
  • Provide prospect/client input to other cross-functional departments
  • Liaise between development and marketing to assist in updating documents defining technical capabilities of the product, white papers, relevant technical news/updates and case studies
  • Actively support AgileAssets’ sales efforts.  This includes helping with the writing and development of compliant, compelling and highly competitive proposals; the preparation for product demonstrations; and other tasks, as assigned.
  • Keep current with product release progress, industry issues and market trends
  • Update all information, correspondence, and data fields in NetSuite (CRM System) on a continuous basis
  • Interact with clients, partners, and team members in a positive and resolution-oriented manner
  • Attend industry tradeshows


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field. MBA preferred
  • Minimum 7 years experience in a product demonstration, consultation or similar client-facing role
  • Majority of recent experience in relevant transportation industry
  • Demonstrated success as a top sales performer who consistently exceeds sales quotas
  • Previous experience consulting or selling technology to state and local governments
  • Training in solutions selling, negotiations and technology sales
  • Strong technical and presentation skills
  • Ability to “open doors” to existing and new accounts
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Proven creativity in applying specific technologies to solve customer problems
  • Ability to multi-task and change priorities
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Must possess tenacity and persistence
  • Proficient computer skills and experience using a CRM database
