Sales Executive

Job  Description:

The Sales Executive will gather qualified sales leads developed through telephone  inquiries, email blasts and other key marketing channels into territory and  potential account sites.  Interact with new or existing accounts, within assigned territory, to determine needs for current or future products and  services.  Provide broad and preliminary company and product information  through the use of Interactive Web-presentation tools.  Primary function  is to generate new leads, sales presentations, follow-up and to grow overall  business.

Responsibilities:

  • Market assigned  territory to develop new accounts and further penetrate existing accounts  building a robust pipeline through prospecting and networking.
  • Assure accounts  are qualified for potential sales
  • Build multiple  relationships within each account to maximize AgileAssets exposure.
  • Serve as a  conduit for information on products and services as requested and needed
  • Prepare related  reports for activities and results
  • Prepare and  perform sales presentations to prospects
  • Champion proposal  response process and approach
  • Attend Trade  shows within industry
  • Strategically  identify account needs for each account
  • Demonstrate  thorough understanding of the transportation industry, the issues facing  transportation agencies and the solutions that AgileAssets software provides.
  • Update all  information, correspondence, and data fields in NetSuite (CRM System) on a  continuous basis.
  • Travel required
  • Manage expenses  effectively
  • Maintain a  professional company image.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to  effectively make a large volume of out-going telephone calls and qualify  accounts for potential sales
  • Strong oral and  written communication skills

  • Tenacity and  persistence
  • Must be able to  handle multiple tasks
  • Proficient  Computer Skills and experience using a CRM database
  • Ability to “open  doors” to existing and new accounts
  • 5 years of  experience selling technology to state and local governments
  • Training in  solutions selling, negotiations, and technology sales.
  • Demonstrated  success as a top sales performer, consistently exceeding quota.
  • Self-starter with  experience and desire to acquire new business.
