AgileAssets Presents Client Experiences, Best Practices, and Case Studies
In this eighth collection of session recordings from our 2016 International Users Conference, you will get insight, tips and tricks from the experts! We have selected four recorded sessions that present best practice case studies when using AgileAssets software for your asset management purposes.
In the first video, Matthew Whitley, P.E., Maintenance Management Engineer, North Carolina Department of Transportation shows how NCDOT has leveraged Configurations in the AgileAssets Asset Management System (BMS, PMS, MMS) to improve business flows and user experience and to support departmental business requirements and legislative mandates.
The second session video has Aaron Collins P.E., Transportation Engineer Specialist, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Golam Sarwar, Senior Consultant, AgileAssets, sharing experiences of implementing AASHTO fleet performance metrics using AgileAssets® Fleet & Equipment Manager™ software. The AASHTO Subcommittee on Maintenance has proposed four key fleet performance metrics: preventive maintenance timeliness, utilization assessment, retention/replacement analysis, and downtime tracking.
The third video is about training and shows how Oklahoma DOT created a training program and online training videos for their AgileAssets users, approx. 300 statewide, to train them on each Module and the processes for capturing costs to roadways, bridges, facilities, and warehouse inventories. ODOT offers six classes each month: Getting Started, Roadway Module, Fleet Module, Facilities Module, Resources Module, and Reports. Presenter is Stephanie Richardson, Administrative Programs Officer IV, Oklahoma DOT
The fourth and last video in this batch is about AVL – Automatic Vehicle Location – and features Steve Spoor, Maintenance Services Manager, Idaho Transportation Department. Steve tells how Idaho has implemented an aggressive program of equipping it’s snowplow fleet with GPS and Mobile Data Collection (MDC) to achieve more accurate timely data regarding trucks and operators saving hundreds of person-hours on an annual basis, while also improving the quality of the data within the MMS. The system is called Winter Automated Reporting System (WARS). With the help of AgileAssets, all snowplow data is now directly interfaced to the MMS.
