Machavarapu plans software innovations using mobile apps, data science, and AI to solve agency challenges.
Austin, Texas – November 29, 2018 – AgileAssets Inc., a leading provider of transportation asset lifecycle management software, has announced the appointment of Sai Machavarapu as Vice President of Engineering. He will lead the company’s global engineering teams to develop next-generation software solutions for government agencies and private organizations that manage national, state, and local road networks.

In more than 20 years in the technology industry, Machavarapu has applied his knowledge of engineering, infrastructure, and architecture to solve complex problems for organizations in diverse industries. At AgileAssets, he will drive the development of software that combines business analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence (AI) to help organizations determine the best investment of funds to keep roads, bridges, and other transportation assets safe and in good repair.

Prior to joining AgileAssets, Machavarapu held engineering leadership positions at major global firms, including Deloitte, D&B Hoovers, The Advisory Board Company, and Accruent. As part of the early leadership team at Advisory Board, he assembled an engineering team of several hundred and built many successful software products. As head of engineering at Accruent, he managed multiple market-leading asset management products that served various industries, including retail, telecom, manufacturing, and healthcare.
