October 25, 2013.

Mr. Stuart W. Hudson, Chief Executive Officer, of the Austin-based software company, AgileAssets Inc., on Friday 25th was inducted into the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Academy of Distinguished Alumni. An honor not bestowed on many at the University of Texas at Austin, and in this case even more rare, since Mr. Hudson follows in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Ronald Hudson, who was inducted in 2003.

Mr. Hudson receives the award for combining strong civil engineering technology, high level computer and mathematical technology, and entrepreneurship into solutions that touch the lives of people across more than 20 states and municipalities in the US, as well as several foreign countries, providing software solutions for the management of roads, bridges, congestion alleviation and overall infrastructure asset management.

Laura Klopfenstein, Alumni Coordinator at the Cockrell School of Engineering recognizes the achievement: “The 2013 honorees have been recognized for expertise in their fields, research and education advancements and strong leadership qualities. The Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering established the Academy of Distinguished Alumni to acknowledge the professional achievements and contributions of its graduates. Twenty-seven charter members were inducted into the academy in 2003, and 74 additional members have been selected since.”
