AgileAssets was a central participant at the 1st IRF Caribbean Regional Congress 2012 held in Montego Bay, Jamaica May 8-11.

Kevin Green, PMP & ITIL Foundations Certified and VP of Professional Services/Project Director at AgileAssets, delivered a presentation highlighting Trinidad and Tobago’s Asset Management capabilities and painted a picture for future maturity and process improvements.

Kevin also highlighted key items required for a successful Asset Management Program, which means establishing Asset Management Software as an important and integral tool, but a tool that requires the establishment of key program foundations such as dedicated funding, organization prioritization and most importantly a systematic approach that allows for early success.

AgileAssets’ project experience in the Caribbean with Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago as well as with the host country Jamaica provided a great background to discuss the full buy-in and support required from politicians and ministries of finance on down to the workers in the field.

For the closing session, Kevin delivered a summary of the work accomplished by the Asset Management Committee during the Conference.
