Austin, Texas – The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners recently voted to approve the selection of AgileAssets Inc. to provide and install AgileAssets® Maintenance Manager, a browser-based computerized infrastructure management system (CMMS) for organizing and providing access to work tracking information from all County yards and to enable the County to meet International City and County Management Association (ICMA) reporting standards.
The implementation of AgileAssets® will allow the County to track performance measurements for a balanced scorecard, as well as allow for continued improvement in maintenance operations (including the maintenance of paved & non-paved roadways, drainage ditches, traffic signals, traffic signs, facilities, bridges, vegetation control, mosquito control and storm water facilities). The AgileAssets system will also enhance the County’s effective business practices of planning, scheduling and managing, as well as provide improved tracking and technological capabilities.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to support Pinellas County and other agencies that want to adopt best-practices solutions for infrastructure asset management” notes Mr. Stuart W. Hudson, President and CEO of AgileAssets Inc. “City and county leaders across the nation demand effective, practical and value-driven tools to optimize their annual budgets, and we’re fortunate to be able to support them.”
Pinellas County joins a growing list of government agencies that want the benefits associated with cutting-edge technology and best-practices maintenance solutions at the enterprise level. AgileAssets is proud to be recognized by Pinellas and others as the best solution available today. The AgileAssets® system allows for improved efficiencies and productivity through its fiscal year planning and periodic scheduling capabilities, and through the monitoring and on-going analysis of the Agency’s resource consumption and performance.
